home phones help

for about a month now my phone has been f**ked... or screwed... well it will ring once then it wont ring ne more but if u pick up then u can talk to the person...but now it will ring then make a noise like the old dial phones made and i have no dial tone...ne help?

This is a problem for your phone company to deal with, it's 99% likely it's outside of your house.

I suggest you try a new phone.

If that doesn't sort things, I sugges you have a little word with your service provider.

yea i know...we have a corded phone thats like 6 years or so and it was fine we have 2 new ish cordless like 2 years old and another thats like 1 so i dont think they are causing the problem

Uh-oh. Bell. I've had my share of problems with Bell/Aliant services...

no phones works at all... apparantly bell blows as well...my g/fs family has had issuses they switched to rogers i think
