Phishing sites

Okay, im on my moms laptop, and im stumped.

Everytime I try and do something in C drive, or the prgram files, there is an IE box that pops up, and its phishing address, because the Windows Firewall says that the phishing filter is turned off. And its always when im offline in the car watching stuff. Like a music video. ACtually, always when I pull out a music video from the limewire folder.

No, not porn, really, its a folder full of music videos :p

Anyways, what do I do about this?

you get a popup when navigating in your c: drive? If it's just randomly popping up without you being on an actual website its obviously spyware/malware. Your a smart kid though so im guessing you've already tried running your adaware/spyware/malware programs already. If it's IE you could try disabling your IE browser completly, (the easiest way is if you use zonealarm to just deny internet access to IE), and switching to an alternative like Opera or Firefox, and see if the window stops popping up then.

I would use Firefox all the time and switch to Ad-Aware AND Spybot Search & Destroy. The two anti-spyware programs together get EVERYTHING off my computer

Well the thing is that ill need to get zone alarm, I dont mind that. But I do an Avira, Adaware and Spy Bot scan, and get zip.

Okay, now I just started to get these on my computer. Sysprotect, isnt that some antivirus program. So why is it doing this too me?

That looks like spyware to me. I had that exact thing take over a PC of mine awhile back. I would try using HiJackThis and see if that helps. Also try using Windows Defender, that's a pretty good program in my experience but I don't really use the realtime protection on it.
I use spysweeper and that keeps alot of stuff out but on the downside, it tends to use a bit more resources than other anti-spyware programs so I just let Kaspersky handle the realtime stuff and run Spysweeper on its own once every couple weeks or so.

Hope that helps a little bit,
Troy
