I am a HUGE Tranformers fan. I've seen the orginal Transformers movie (it was animated, but good). I watched it since the 1980's and had their toys (when they were die cast metal). Not the cheap plastic stuff. Aerobots, Constructobots, Fortress Maximus, etc....good stuff. The new Transformers cartoons are a bit different from what I remembered, but still ok. They just get all weird with all these power packs, combiners, Anyone else looking forward to this movie? Transformers fans?

i was also a big transformers fan and had a few di cast metal figurines aswell...but after reading abotu this movie, i dont seem so happy about it..i mean..its always been animated..and they say this movie is going to be based in real-life

I think that's what will make this movie so intereting to see. An actual real life movie. Just think of the transformers looking so mechanized and real. Reminds me of the first Power Rangers movie. Yes, I saw that and it was the best!!!!!! I love it, but I hate Power Rangers, lol. The special effects in there wsa so good that it made the story good. I believe Transformers will be similar to that, but take on a more serious role. Power Rangers was mostly kids and world domination by some silly goofball bad guys.

Transformers have more "drama" because it is an actual war between the Autobots and the Decepticons with the humans stuck in between. I can't wait to see Optimus Prime and what other characters they have. I like to see the combiners in there too. My favorite was the aerobots. The 5 of them transforming to the ultimate, "Superion". Bruticus was another good one using the constructibots combiners. I think they were rivals in the older Transformers series. It's too bad a lot of the young kids these day don't get a chance to see them.

that will be crazy...if only they would do a live action pokemon movie...then i would be excited^^

Oh man, Beast Wars was very good. The storyline was done nicely. I actually liked it a whole lot. A real life Pokemon movie would be crazy. Imagine a real "charrazar". I just can't picture a real Pikachu. It will look kind of funny if it was made real. Sort of like a miniature "Stay Puff Marshmellow Man" from the original Ghostbusters movie from the 80's.

I'm looking forward to the transformation sequence with the guys in the movie. To see them change will be a sight to see. Too bad it's still far away from releasing. ComicCon (comic book convention) will actually have the movie trailer there. Darn...

Someone took a shot of it using their camcorder or something at some sequences from the real movie in the first link. They're towards the end of the clip. The intro is just a flashback on the toys of Transformers, some cartoons, etc. The good movie scenes are like close to the end. All I can say is, it looks sweet. Talk about realism. You may catch a couple glimpse of actual scene footage of this.

Steven Spielberg is the Executive Producer on this. By Dreamworks and Hasbrol.

I don't know why is says 7 days 23 hours when the movie isn't scheduled to be released in 2007. Maybe it's when the trailer comes out....
