buy the monitor, and then buy the direct x 10 cards when they come out.

yeah get the monitor now as dx10 cards will be out soon. what you have to remember now that there is about 20% more pixels on a widescreen monitor and you will have to play it at resolutions of 1680x1050 not say 1024x768 so there will be more demand from games such as bf2. heres a good forum dedicated to widescreen monitors: http://www.widescreengamingforum.com also see the product review sticky, i wrote a review in it about my widescreen monitor: http://www.computerforums.org/showthread.php?t=39148 the monitor you was looking seems good but the contrast ratio is abit small, its 450:1 were you should be looking at least 600:1. the rest of the specs are good tho.
i read your thread, good review . Ok so i will look for a different monitor but i want a 20'' widescreen. Ok so my question. If i get such a monitor will my bf2 be a bit small. You said their are such hacks, is this true??

i would go for widescreen its the way forward. yeah that widescreen monitors specs look good. you may want to read some reviews about it. have a look at tthis forum: http://www.widescreengamingforum.com it has all that you could ever want to know about widescreen monitors, reviews of monitors, ways to make games widescreen. for example you can make BF 2 widescreen its a very simple method i have done it my self.
