Ping -a Command

Good Morning to All,

i have small problem in my windows.....

i am not able to get the name of the machine which i ping by using this command (ping -a "IP Address").

Note: i am using windows xp sp2 & Local Network....

i need your support please.
 
Works for me (yahoo is the example.)


C:\>ping -a 66.92.234.13

Maybe you're having issues with your DNS Resolution. Did you try restarting the computers that are affected?
