As I was playing world of warcraft, my screen went blank but my computer did not turn off so i restarted computer but ever since, the computer has been running really slow starting up, and playing games and where I used to get 60 fps, I now get 15 fps in world of warcraft. Here are my system specs
3.0 ghz Intel Pentium D
3 gigs of DDR2 ram
2x 7800gt (sli) video cards
550watt power supply
I have updated my video card drivers, I have checked temperatures on cpu and video cards, they are fine. I am running Norton Antivirus but disabling it doesn't increase performance. My internet connection for the game is fine. I have run a video card stability test and results are normal, I have enabled and disabled SLI and still no improvement. I was wondering if anyone here had any idea about what my problem could be?
