Mic Prob

Hi I used to have this mic but it broke. So I got the same one. Bewteen getting them I reformatted. Now it's all fuzzy and low volume for the mic , and I got settings max.

i think you're using integrated sound right? so when you reformat did you use a recovery disk or did you just install xp?

I just used the standed windows disk that came with it. But I got xp read the fist post ,it's got a link

go into your audio properties and make sure you got record on a louder level, sometimes that can be an issue, or have mic bosst on, that helps alot.
