Is it fast? im thinking to get a comp with this one

well i have an amd 3000+ and its pretty decent. this one should also be very fast. it all depends on your buget though and how much you can spend

It's decent at best. I would be best to go with an Athlon 64 now anyways. They've gotten so cheap, that the price isn't much more than a Sempron, but the performance difference is noticable.

One word of advice, if you decided to go with AMD for the upper edge with video editing and stuff of that sort, definitely don't go with the Sempron. That came to take the place of the Duron and that is a low-end processor that AMD offers. I would always put my hard-earned money towards an Athlon 64, and depending on what I used it for, possibly dual-core. Just a little food for the thought.
