msn help

could anyone tell me whether it is possible for me to copy a video conversation via webcam on msn, to my harddisk or dvd so i can show my mother a conversation i have with relatives abroad without her having to be there. sounds a simple enough thing to sort out but i cant work out how! its not like you are actually downloading the image so cant work out how to record it. please help.

I'm not sure if you can record webcam videos unless you downloaded a piece of software to record what happens on your screen and then make a movie file out of it.

do you know what software i might need or where i could get it or find out more?

There's a flash type program ... I don't think its free though; sorry can't remember the name of it.
