Mystery computer problem

When I visit certain websites, my computer will keep crashing back to my desktop. It doesn't actually disconnect me from the internet though. I've deleted the temporary internet files and cookies but that didn't help.
I have Internet Explorer, Zonelab Firewall, AVG anti-virus.
Any suggestions?

Stop looking at porn then :D

Use firefox, try reinstalling IE if you prefer that

Hehe, yeah right, like that'll ever happen.

Yeah, do pretty much what everyone says. I have Mozilla Firefox and it's awesome. It blocks most pop-ups so I think it'd take care of half your problem.

Yeah that would probably solve alot my other problems too. :p

So if I reinstall IE, do I loose all of my favorites?

If you're running Windows XP, IE is imbedded into the OS. The only thing that tells Windows that IE is installed is a registry value 1 or 0. I've tried that option on a minor IE problem before, with no luck- in short, it's a waste of time. There are several browsers out there, such as FireFox, Opera, and Netscape. I actually use all four, but Opera mostly.

It could be spyware on your computer. Make sure it's clean, and try running from the run box sfc /scannow
You will need your original disc you installed with. System File Checker helps sometimes. Might help you.

I am running Windows XP, I was wondering why I couldn't find IE listed in the add/remove programs. I'm also running Windows Defender anti-spyware. I'll have to give the Firefox a try. Alot of good tips up in the sticky too.
Thanks everyone.
