Hey, well a friend just spent a good hour, sending me a 52MB song - a big jungle remix, via MSN.

When the file had completed, I get the little link telling me where the file is, so I double click to open the file..

I then get a box saying the file could be harmful, so Windows has blocked access to the file.

Any idea how to get at it, the file is not appearing in My Recieved Files by the way.

I really want to hear this file!

Thanks

Can you turn off the Windows Protection in the Control Panel, or something like that?

i had that prob. he may have to re send it as i think the windows protection thing deletes it.
edit: when you recieve it next time just open it from my recieved files, not msn and it should be ok. it is for me anyway

Yeah, though 52mb, what was it? A wave? If so, tell your mate to re-encode it into MP3.

If it was a standard audio file, it couldn't have seen it as dangerous... unless it was zipped or something.
