Overclocking

Hey guys. I don't know much about overclocking your cpu so I was wondering is it safe/does it help a lot more?

It can be safe if you know what you are doing and watch your temps. The only way you can really hurt your processor is if you use way to much voltage or dont watch your temps and it gets too hot.

It helps quite a bit if you do a big enough overclock. Right now my processor is overclocked by 800mhz and you defently notice a difference over the stock 2ghz.

It's safe as long as you don't go too far Just make sure your cooling is up to par, and go little by little. Yes, it will help things be faster. Probably not so noticeable/worth the effort if all you do is basic things like email and internet though. 99nasha has a write-up on overclocking HERE
