Hello,
I am having trouble connecting to the internet with Norton Internet Security and iTunes. They were both working perfectly fine and then all of the sudden problems started to rise. There may be other programs that I don't know about that can't connect either. I turned off my norton firewall and nothing changed.
Here's my hijackthis log.

I scanned for spyware using Adaware, deleted a couple of things that it showed, and nothing changed.

EDIT: IE isn't working either.

So firefox is the only thing working? What about Instant Messenger?
Instant messenger works also. It feels like there is another firewall blocking iTunes, IE, and Norton.

Think it's about time to save my files and put the boot disk in?

Ok; try a couple of things before system restore

1. Restart the computer (if you haven't done so already, definitely do this)
2. Have you installed any old AV/Spyware/Firewall software that you never got rid of after you were done using it? I had this problem and it turned out ZoneAlarm/AVG were causing the problem...

I don't have any system restore benchmark things, except for yesterday AFTER the problem happened. It is a windows defender restore point, so I deleted windows defender and nothing happened.

I am considering linux lol.

EDIT: I have restarted many times.
