No it's not, it's just the older type RAM. It's an older DELL, so it'll have older RAM. Nothing odd about that mate.

Nope didnt think so all though its more expensive but i think im going to go ahead and order the 512mb to up me to 768mb

No, thats 84 pin, laptop RAM is nearly half the size of normal RAM.
