Ok something happened last time i posted this and i don't think it went through but if it did i'm sorry about reposting. Ok on to my question. Is there some sort of PCI card or device that would allow me to play a XBOX or PS2 through my PC instead of using a TV? Any help is appreciated.

what you are looking for is an emulator. gogle PS2 or Xbox emulators and you will find links.

Hmm, i'm not sure that's what i want. I already have an XBOX but i don't like playing it on the TV cause then everyone sits and watches me and it's weird so i was looking for a way to play my XBOX through my PC i'm guessing there's not such thing lol. Thanks for the suggestion.

Oh, but there is! It's called a TV Tuner card. Here's an example of one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814255010, and that seems to be a pretty good one. All of them have their flaws, though, no one can seem to perfect the TV Tuner... And some are very expensive. That should do what you want, though. If you have an S-Video output on your XBox cord, it should have sound as well! And, you can even watch TV on your computer by hooking up cable.

That is perfect! You know i was looking at those wondering if they would work for what i wanted but i wasn't sure. Thanks for the help man.

I tried hooking my xbox up to my hauppauge PVR-150MCE tv tuner card, however, there is horrible lag. I think I read somewhere that most tv tuners have this problem. This is what you need. http://www.x2vga.com/ It makes it so that you can connect your xbox directly to your computer monitor. There will be no lag since the xbox data doesn't have to be run through your entire computer before being displayed.

why don't you want to play on your tv? is your monitor bigger than your tv or is it just because the monitor is more crisp?
