ATi VCard on a ASUS SLi Mobo?

Is it safe to do this?

I really like this ASUS mother board:

The problem is I'm an ATi man, I could care less if nVidia + SLi is currently better or whatever.

Anyways if I was to use that motherboard with an ATi card would I have any issues?

Its safe, because its a PCI ex slot. Although, it would not be safe to run two ATI cards in each of the slots. Because thats specificly for nVidea territory. But in answer to your question, its fine.

Yeah, you don't have to use the sli feature on the board so any PCI E card will work in there.

Edit: That board is running an Nforce4 chipset and you are thinking of putting an ATI video card in it, those two might not get along very well. Might want to look for a board with a different chipset.
