Virus help!

Spyware help! (I did read the sticky)

I don't know to much about computers and I need some serious help. I have aqquired the Winfixer and Virtumonde viruses and can't get rid of them! Spy Sweeper doesn't detect them and Ad-Aware can but cannot delete them! What should I do to get rid of them? Is whiping my computer in order?

Not yet. A few good free programs to try:
Avast! Home Edition
AVG
Bit Defender
Or you can go to Trend Micro's HouseCall and do a Web-based scan- works really well, if you're able to access the Internet.

I found a site that was based around removing WinFixer and reccommened different programs, the number one rated program was Xoftspy. I bought it and it detected it and sweeps real fast but I don't think it got rid of it! I will try your links, thanks!

Also webroot's Spysweeper will remove it (Once again you have to buy it) Also read this as there are 2 or 3 links which may help.

I have Webroot SpySweeper but it didn't get it, think I need a new version or can I just update to get the new version?
