Exchange Problems

My company constantly has issues with our Exchange Server. Its running Exchange 2003.

For some reason exchange will stop responding to requests from Outlook but it will allow OWA to function. The database is always in check so does anyone have any ideas as to what is going wrong?

Are all the relevant services running? also I assume that you are using outlook with the mail setup enabled as an exchange connection, not pop or imap?

web access uses a different service to the exchange service, so it could easily be a problem with just this...


can you get any more information from your event log.

start -> run -> eventvwr
