ok well i cant turn my computer on right now. it somtime's turns on, somtime's it doesnt. and i dont know how to change the temp if it wont turn on. what can i possibly do? i really have no idea im depending on you guys

hey, i was doing some research on the whole thing. i read that the if the power supply is going bad that you will get boot error's (like i did when i got a boot.ini file corrupt) and when i get cmos failures and stuff like that. then it also says it will cause the cpu to overheat and stuff like that. is there a way to test a power supply?

take it out and put it in the computer that your using now, thats the only way that i can think of that will make you be able to check it.

what type of power supply do you? and how many watts?
