.exe will not delete

try renaming the file then deleting it, it might trick windows into deleting it

Hi,

I just tried rebooting in safe mode and deleting the file with no avail....it wont let me rename the file either.....
Any other suggestions are much appreciated...

someone on here would know exactly what to do... and i cant remember what to do exactly and i dont wanna steer you wrong, but i kno that when i had an icon that i couldn't get rid of, I went into the windows registry and edited/deleted it.... this makes the icon disappear (assuming its on your desktop).

Dunno if that helps, but someone else might know what im talking about or you could even google it. good luck either way.

Thank you Will and Tommy Boy, although will it wasnt an icon that was stuck, it was in fact a .exe lol.......but the information is handy.....Tommy Boy thanks for the link the MoveOnBoot program worked like a treat!
