How many of you like phpbb? I am thinking about sarting my own little, computer forum but running it off of phpbb. What do you think? turn on/turn off?
phpBB is a nice forum, and you can customize it a little bit. Look into SMF, which from my experience (and I've used and customized both), has many more features, and is also free.
phpBB is more simple to use in my opinion and experiences, also MyBB is another good free solution but phpBB is probably the best and it is very common. Watch out for security holes in it though (keep upgrading).
If you wanna pay for a better forum experience, use vBulletin... IMO its better than IPB.
