Uhh please help im scared

hey guys i just got a phone call from amd sayign that my pins were bent and they cant give me a replacement... but he said that he could give me a replacement 3700 not a x2 but i was shit its better then buy another 3800 x2 for 300$ what you guys think? and for the mobo its at asus fac getting tested if fired they wil give me a replacemnet

The pins are bent? Personally, I'd take the processor back. I've been a WHOLE row of pins on my Opteron, and I spent 30 minutes straightening them back with my fingers and fingernails (luckily they were a bit long ). I got it back, put it in the socket (which I even had to press down a little on because the pins were not quite straight) and it works fine now. Perfectly!
