my friend bought a p4 or athlon 64 (didnt check because didnt boot, but we can tell from the size of teh heatsink) from a garage sale for 10 bucks. when he tries to boot up from windows cd (even when bios is set to boot from CD first), it says "error, boot error, please insert system disk and press enter". im going over there tomorow to have a look at it, maybe upgrade it a bit, u know.

So what should i do to it to make it work??

well, didnt you ask your friend to alest look in the BIOS to see what type of cpu. Mine tells me the type of cpu it has installed
