Why cant we post attachments, they are so much easier to use too. But i understand bandwidth usage and such.

"Intel introduced today, at Computex, its first Broadwater chipset, the P965 Express, pitched at Core 2 Duo processors (Conroe). It brings some new technologies, such as Fast Memory Access (FMA), to optimize system memory bandwidth, and Quiet System, which promises to reduce noise and heat. Other specs include DDR2-800 support, 1,066 MHz FSB, PCI Express x16, six Serial ATA 3 Gb/s ports, six PCI Express x1 slots, ten USB 2.0 ports, high-definition audio and Gigabit Ethernet LAN. Diagrams showed that Intel dropped PATA and PCI support. The Broadwater model with on-board graphics, dubbed G965, should arrive soon. Conroe is expected to launch on July 23."

yay! but ill be going for ASUS' flagship 975x motherboard. IMO, the 965 is not that great.

975x - x8 x8 pci-express lanes. I like the 975x becuase it is currently Intel's flagship model and it has been used before so i know what it can handle. The 965 on the other hand is new and it is 16x 4x pci express lanes. So you cant use CF on them.

Don't know if u already knew it but at a clock speed of 5013Mhz (12 x 418) the Core 2 Extreme X6800 cpu made the new world record in SuperPi 1M, 10,140 seconds. Not gonna be long before someone goes under 10 seconds.

yeah, i know about it. XS is sooo awesome. You get previews before Anand gets them over at anandtech.
