athlon 3000+ or 3200+

I voted for stock cooling. No use on getting aftermarket cooling unless you want to OC the crap out of it.
that was the plan. whatever i was gonna get, i would overclock it.

Mine is overclocked, but left at stock cooling. Temps are just fine. Athlon 64's don't run that hot.
okay. i trust u. if i get an athlon 64, it will be the 3200+

With a 3000+ you need an aftermarket cooler. Due to the low multiplier (9x) you need a high FSB to make up for that loss. that means higher voltage and higher temperatures. I say 3000+

but doesnt that mean with a 10x multiplier (3200+) then the fsb wouldnt have to be as high for solid oc'ing results?

complete crap? or just average? cuz ive heard people get high oc's out of the opteron stock heatsink. of course the opteron oc's well with whatever, but i heard it does a pretty good job with cooling it.
