What is it?

A problem affecting various versions of Symantec AntiVirus.
What does it do?
================
This could enable an attacker to gain control of computers that use this
software.
What does it affect?
====================
Symantec Client Security versions 1.x and 2.x, Symantec AntiVirus Corporate
Edition versions 8.x and 9.x. Anti Virus products in the Norton brand are
not affected.
How do I fix it?
================
Update English language copies of the affected Symantec software with the
download now available from Symantec; non-English language updates are still
awaited.
