SLI, worth it?

So I'm seeing these 7600GT's on the mid $100's, its crazy, so I look up the price on some 6600GT's, what I have. Would it be worth it to get another one, since they're only about $100, and SLI it?

I would say no. Right now the 6600gt is getting pretty low end and two of those aren't much better. What I would do is sell the 6600gt and buy somthing like a 7900gt.

Nope. No games completely use the power of SLI and upgrading means you'll need to buy two of the same cards (although recent driver improvements have allowed for mixing of brands).

Yeah, And my board when in SLI, brings both slots down to 8x, so it really isn't much improvement at all. My GPU is bottlenecking my whole system though!

just spend your money on one good card. buying two mediocre cards and putting them in SLi has no use.

Haha, definately not enough money for that. I'll try to get a good $170 out of my 6600gt from some friends around locally
