I have some songs that I got from a friend and they were in m4a format and I just need someone to tell me what a good free program I could use to convert them into mp3 format so that I can listen to them through winamp and play them in my mp3 player, thanks.

There is an open source program called DBpowerAMP which you can download then install the codecs for to enable conversion from M4a to Mp3.

Yeah the converter didn't work so have you got anymore programs??
