Thats wierd, might be something in your BIOS - default graphics card, something along those lines..

How can you have a AGP 8X in an AGP 4X slot, didn't know that was possible..

Well, if it means anything, the motherboard has onboard video.. yet I can't seem to find an option to disable it.. however it is set to go to the AGP slot before the onboard...

well I see that your runing a OS on a OS. like windows and a emulator to play Linux. check your emulator options see if it can detect the right hardware again

No, it's not an OS on top of another OS. It's just VNC.. I don't have a keyboard on that computer so I have to use VNC to control it.
