Checking HD RPM?!

Is there a way to check your rpm of your HD?

Thansk.
Well, there are only a few rpm speeds that hard drives run, 5400, 7200 (most likely what yours is) and 10,000, oh and also 15,000 now but those are really expensive and I doubt you have one.

yeah, chances are you have a 7200, 5400s are so old, and 10ks aren't exactly cheap.

5400 or 7200 RPM. PC manufacturers usually don't bother with 10,000 or 15,000 RPM hard drives because of the price, unless it's a high-end system.
