Yes definitely get the Ion. And the outside is mostly plastic.

Weird plastic for a 200$ gun, i like the Pilot ACS man its 150$-200 i think with more gear

ehh im not going to bother reading all the other post but man if your getting into paintball you better be prepared to spend alot of money if your getting in all the way. A gun,co2 filled, paintballs isnt cheap. I never had problems paying for all that but I do know it wasent cheap
