That and not to mention you need a wireless card, and it might be a crappy connection, and you could get into ALOT of trouble if caught. Anyway nowadays alot of people are using WEP to password protect wireless points to getting into their router.
 
i installed a wireless network for someone yesterday, and i encrypted it with WPA. does it only password protect it? or does it also scramble the signal?

Breaking 128bit WEP takes all of 10 minutes to do anyways.

Of corse, I dont access other people's wireless, spoof mac addresses, break WEP or any other illegal things.
