I don't think you can change, can you?, anyway, can I ask why you would want to?, I think I know you, & I don't think there is an illegal reason, but please explain yourself, if only to ease my mind.

well then the routers ip must not be 192.168.0.1
Since if it would be them by all means u should be able to access to it, as long as u are connected to it. Which I'm guessing u are since u are posting here.

Check the routers manual for the correct ip.
And I've never seen a case where u could change a computers ip from the router, but I gues it could be possible. :s

I dont think that you should psot your ip on an open forum for security reasons :)
and to find you ip addy you can do many things :)

A.Start-Run-CMD-ipconfig /all and it should tell you your ip addy :)

B.Go to the Network connection folder and click on the Wireless network connection icon and then look at the left of the screen near the bottom it should tell you

Hope this helps :)

Why haven't you answered me? [post 2] it's been six hours since, & I still don't know if your call for help is genuine, contact me here soonest, [not by PM] or I will close this thread.

o srry brookfield. no illegalness here. i am clean.

i have a bluetooth pda. it can have interent via blueooth

http://whizoo.com/bt_setup/

but on that page it says for a router, it can't be 192.168.0.1

that is why i am trying to change it.

EDIT: i don't know what i did, but now i CAN get into my router. change the ip address, once i do, the internet is down, i reset my router. internet is back up on 192.168.01....ugh
