ok guys on my new build i was thinking 7600gt...but when it got down too it...if i spend the 300 now for the 7900co i get 256 bit...and 24 pixel pipelines over the 7600's 128 bit and 12 pixel pipelines...look at this

k now if i were to get the 7900co...what would be a worthy power supply...doesnt have to have sli support but sli would be nice...thx

also if i have 2gb dual channel in the future would the 7900co play bf2 full graphics easy????...thx

ok guys one thing about this...i have 4 options and im trying to save money but i want a great computer and here they are

option1:
amd 3200+ 2.0ghx
eVGA nforce4sli mobo
eVGA 7600gt
1gb ddr500(later another)
creative labs sound blaster
antec truepower 550 watt sli support
antec solution slk3000 case
cost: $733

option2:
amd 3200+ 2.0ghz
eVGA nforce4sli mobo
eVGA 7900co
1gb ddr500(later another)
creative labs sound blaster
antec truepower 550 watt sli support
antec solution slk3000 case
cost: $800

option3:
amd opteron 2.0ghz
eVGA nforce4sli mobo
eVGA 7600gt
1gb ddr500(later another)
creative labs sound blaster
antec truepower 550 watt sli support
antec solution slk3000 case
cost: $825

option4:
amd opteron 2.0ghz
eVGA nforce4sli mobo
eVGA 7900co
1gb ddr500(later another)
creative labs sound blaster
antec truepower 550 watt sli support
antec solution slk3000 case
cost: $882

ok guys now option 1 is the cheapest...option 2 has the better video card and is still cheap...option 3 has the better processor and the worse video card...and option 4 is great on both halves but is unaffordable....so if i were to get option 2 would the video card bottleneck...also i could upgrade the processor later ne ways...and i want a good video card so that if i later sli i will have an awesome set....also will 512kb l2 cache hold out fine on the 3200+???...also im really looking at option2....and im not looking to greatly OC so im leaning more towards the 3200+...thx...im just needing opinions and maybe options of ur own...thx :D

come on 22 views and no answers!??!? plz i just need some opinoins here

i wouldnt get a 7600, stick with option 2 if you dont mind the 512KB cache on the 3200+

for the sake of $57 I'd go Option 4 over Option 3 every time, my advice, save a little longer, go for the best option

true man but i dont think that i will be able to do that...do u think if i dont get option 4 that option 2 would be fine???? thx

see later my computer would prolly be this
amd 3200+ OC'd to 2.5ghz at least......or opteron OC'd to at least 2.75ghz
eVGA mobo
eVGA 7900
2gb dual channel ddr500
creative labs sound blaster(just to take a process off of my mobo)
antec truepower 550watt
antec solution slk3000 case

u think that this case will get good airflow...if not how can i improve it??? thx

A 3200+ will get you 2.7Ghz easily if not 3Ghz if its a good clocker. The problem with opterons is that they come with one multiplier lower than their desktop counter parts, which directly means that you need a higher FSB to get to the speed you want.

ok so i should be sticking wtih the 3200+....?!?!? thx :D...and that was good information i just am tired and im not understanding stuff :D

yeah, IMO, the 3200+ is good enough unless you are picky about the extra 512KB of cache.

yeh...and that 7900 is a great card...has 2x the pixel piplines of the 7600...also 256 bit instead of 128...and the core clocks and memory clocks are around the same but the 7900co will be faster for sure...:D...should i get the ko version...but spec wise they look that same>????!?!
