Yep, laptops cant be overclocked. They put slower components in laptops because of heat and weight issues. So therefore cant be overclocked whatsoever

And overclocking is great. I bought my CPU for £100 (AMD 3000+) at its stock speed is 1.8

I overclocked it to 2.55 which is faster than an AMD 4000+!!! Which costs £220!

that the same processor as me? i cant oc though as i have a compaq and bios is locked. wish i could!!!!

Nah,I have a athlon. Semprons overclock well though. You should have built your PC!!

oh, i have a custom pc, and im away from home right now, but im on my laptop, doing some graphics editing, and its goin slow, just thought id ask, ill try it on my custom when i get home

gues il just have to get a lot of ram for my lappy
