Can anyone help me install linux? im new to it and i want to install it on my dads old p3 450 mhz :\ im wondering if its even able to run linux and if it can how would i burn it to a cd and install it on his computer?

You coudl get knoppix

You download knoppix then you burn the iso image to a cd and then boot from your cd drive and it starts up

I would suggest using Ubuntu Linux. It is really easy to use and its great!
