Dont think you can do that..can you?

Can't you just install a floppy for the time being? Would make life alot easier..

Yea you can... well at least with my intel MOBO i can... just hit up the .exe file and it works its magic... my mobo is in my sig

Ya the thing is

Im doing this on a laptop *which doesnt have a floppy* and i dont have like 15 bucks to go buy a floppy drive so I wanna figure this out

Go to the manufactures website for your laptop and go to where you would get the bios. See if they talk about this at all. I know a lot of new bios now can be run straight from windows xp using a program like WinFlash. For my DFI motherboard I just did that the other day and it worked perfectly.

Yep I know it works good from experience. I'm not sure though if you have to have special bios or anything. I might suggest searching google for winflash and see what you can find about it. Your laptop manufacture might even recommend it.
