I have a e-machines t2341 what should I upgrade to make it a good internet computer also is the processor able to be upgraded or would the whole motherboard have to be upgraded I'd also like to be able to do some gaming but not to much

well, the internet bit, its about ur connection, not really the pc, and ur processor, we need 2 no if its AMD or Intel and the socket

You defintly want to get ATLEAST 512mb's of ram..That will improve your computers performance greatly.

Im at school, so ill just post on here. It says you have 3 slots for ram, with one take up. So you can just buy a 512, or 2x256. But the best way is to just get 1 stick of 512, that way if you upgrade later, you still have one slot empty, and dont have to take a stick of ram out......

I'd just get 512mb ddr400 sticks (1 or 2, depending on how much u can spend) and throw away the 128mb one. The 128mb is ddr266, so it's alot slower than ddr400 and so having it in there will slow down the 512mb stick(s).

If u want to buy a new cpu then it has to be socket A. I wouldn't bother upgrading though, the current one is ok for internet use etc.
If u want to start gaming, then I'd suggest getting a totally new computer. If it's just really light games then get an agp vid card. (ur mobo only has agp 4x, but it should be enough for the slower agp cards) And remember to check the power requirements for the vid card since I'm pretty sure u don't have a powerfull psu.
