okay, in the summer, i am practically always in the water, my family and i live on the beach in michigan. I love jetskiing, and wakeboarding, but sometimes i wish i had some music, so i was trying to figure out some different ways to integrate a sound system into a jetski. i want it to be able to be taken on and off, so i was looking at this:
iFloat
it is a waterproof boombox almsot, but i dont think it wud be loud enough, soo
i was looking at making a setup like this...

ipod in waterproof case-my own modded 3.5mm to speaker cable wire
- then to small waterproof speaker(s)

any other ideas would be great, basically just need a waterproof boombox thats really loud...

What kind of Jetski?

I think I have the perfect thing. And how much do you want to put into this?

uhh, i dunno, hopefully under $150 with the equipment i already have

and a 2006 kawasaki 1200

Thats quite a small speaker, you'd probably need something a bit loader I'd say

You know hes right.. The roar of the motor is pretty loud.

Might wanna get a solo cd player, and something more like this

or
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-4uZd5sm5VJC/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=228350&I=020CMCX71

you can turn the cd player all the way up and those speakers shouldnt distort. so check out a player like this...

yeah, i already have one of these
BKF8V3013EF1_5M_260_260.jpg

and was gonna mod it to be 3.5mm to speaker cable, i dunno though...

although, now that i think about it, the speakers shown earlier would have to be pretty loud, as they are made for boats, and boats have quite a roar to them also..
