ok I built a computer for my dad(its running windows xp). I put a new 200gb drive in there thats ntfs and I took the old drive out of his pos gateway and put it in also.(that was running windows 98) and is FAT32. I set the old drive as slave and the new one is master. They are on the same IDE cable if this makes a difference. When I boot the comp it recognizes both drives in BIOS but under my computer it only shows the NTFS drive. If I right click my computer and go to management then it shows both drives and says both are online and running but the FAT32 drive has no drive letter shown and the only option I can select is to delete the parition. My dad has alot of his work information that can't be lost so I can't reformat and do NTFS. I thought xp could show fat32 drives? What can I do?
