graphic card?

Ati 9550 is not all that bad. I believe it's an agp card, so it allows for 8 lanes of data. Your standard intergrated onboard video should do a swell job of just playing dvds, and video files. You know you need upgrading when video is choppy or the dvds cut off in the middle, otherwise you should be fine. Video cards are more needed for games and graphics intensive programs.

Thanks the reason i was asking is I can get a nvidia geforce 6600 oc for the same price as the ati radeon 9550

As said, if you don't play games, just get a cheap standard card. Get the best that $30 will get you. (which in my case was a Ti 4200, with the exception of gaming, this is an excellent workstation GPU.)
