system wont boot

what does it mean when it goes into post?

thats when it shows what cpu is fitted, how much memory etc...

ok well i dont get anything on the screen ? it just runs and those leds go on. and the cpu fan stops spinning?

oooooooo.... well i personally would connect the heat sink fan to the power supply with the 2 pin connector and check all the connections including that of the grafiks card. might be worth leavin the comp for a couple of minutes like that... i cant think of anything else, other than a mobo problem

aaaaaaaaaaaaah! haha im soo dumb lol i didnt have the monitor turned on the whole time! but how long can the cpu run without the fan? it stops ... and i mwondering i couldnt get it disconnected from the mobo power outlet because its a tight squeeze for my hand to get in there.

soo is it okay for the cpu fan to stop running until i figure out the setting in the bios?
