Ok. This is what i want.

I am looking for a search engine script - which can pull out details and relevant websites when given keywords - standard search engine script.

This must return results and interface with a database script - so that all returned results - are then automatically inputted into a database.

Is this possible - and does anyone have any ideas on how i could go about doing this?

Im sure it can be done, however you would want to use "referers" to do this. How? Im not sure but sounds like a good idea, and a nice project if you have the time to put into it.

Ofcourse its possible, how do you think google does it? But it takes alot of detailed programming to make numerous bots to troll the internet looking for content

I'm serious, you could do something like that, make your own mini Google, you never know, soon Google will be out of business and there will be Renegadeandy Adsense
