How do you take out the firewall in a router?

Just go into your router settings I beleive and take out the firewall settings, there should be a little check box where you can un-tick it, but it maybe different with different routers.

But if you just take off the "firewall" you still got NAT and everything running.

What you do want to do is approperiatly foward the ports and maybee setup a DMZ.

However option #2 is find out how many IP's your ISP will give you, and use a switch instead of a router. My ISP lets me connect 4 or more PC's at a time :)

I just hate routers.. see my internet has a box, that you plug in the cable and it converts it to internet to your computer, but on that box there is usb plug in so I can have two computers runing from that box
Sorry to tell you, but the modems that have USB and Ethernet, can only be used one at a time. you wont be able to use both.
