ok so im looking for a really good chipset cooler since the last one i got wasnt any better then the stock one, any ideas? oh and its got to be a low profile one since my graphics card goes over it
there has been much talk about replacing the chipset fan on the DFI boards. People have used this successfully and the temps have lowered. Remember to use AS5 while putting the heatsink on.
that second one u posted is the one ive tried replacing it with but i saw no difference in temp although it is a lot quieter, do u think that first one will be a lot better?
if i were u i would try some liquid metal instead of AS5 because ur getting all copper heatsink a liquid metal would greatly increase the contact and cooling ability of ur heatsink.
