USB device not reconigized why?

Hi i keep getting this ms in a bubble USB device not reconigized i have tryed every single USB port on my comp it was working all good untill today, im trying to plug my camera into my comp it has worked every single type before now non of the usb devices work for it.

I have looked in the device manager section and every single one says its working properly. Is there another way i can fix this problem? would it be because my camera battery is kinda low?

Just try unplugging the device and restarting your computer.

I had this problem with a gamepad. Turns out the device was faulty.

oh ok, sorry I thought you were running 98. It should automaticly detect it, if not use the scan for new hardware wizard.

tryed scanning for new device nothing found tryed restarting computer and still nothing

do you have a different cable you can try, it may be the cable.

hmmm nope i wouldnt think it would be the cable never been steped on and has no damage

I'd try a new cable anyway, you just never know. I bought brand new cables that didn't work.

Is this just for this specific device or is it no matter what you plug in to a USB slot it won't work.
