windows password

well i started up my old comp today and the password box popped up like usual only i dont remember the password cause i havent touched the thing in over a year :S, is there any way around it without formatting?

I believe resetting the CMOS bios might help, but I think that only works if you have set up a BIOs password.

i dont have a password on my BIOS, its just your typical windows password at the logon screen, it cant be that hard to get around
