127 GIGs showing on a 300 GIG HD

IDK, I highly doubt its broken, i'm going work on it some tomorrow but will take any suggestiosn now thank you.

Look in the hard drive manual. They all come with software with override this. Just have a gander in your hard drive manual.

Windows XP Service Pack 1 and earlier does not support anything past 127GB for NTFS partitions. There are two things you can do in order to get the full partition,

A, Go to seagate's website and look for a tool to partition it for you.
B, install service pack 2 and reformat the hard drive.

I had the same problem when I got a 200gb western digital hard drive. Fixed it with service pack 2.

Erm ok that helps a us, Considering we only got SP1 XP CD then we will need to repoartion it. I'll find it and fix it and tell yall if it worked its late at night and I'm tried good night.
