floppy and disk drive problems

my floppy drive and one of my optical drives are not recognized at the moment, well it says they are but when i put something in them nothing happens, it doesnt recognize theres something in them at all, i tried installed the most up to date drivers for my cd drive and it says it couldnt find the cd drive, im currently using the DFI buss drivers, should i try uninstalling them and using the windows ones instead?

Yeah, try rolling them back, and see how that works.

ok, how do i do that? lol if i uninstall them it should start using the windows drivers right?
