Personally, i dislike logitech mice. Im using a Razer Diamondback right now and im loving it.

i use the mx510.. it works fine... i don't see why you would spend the extra money on an mx518 the performance difference really isn't noticeable i don't think. oh and.. for the mx510 if you buy it.. i wouldn't recommend installing the drivers, it really screws around with mouse sensitivity if you play first person shooters.
